Ashley Furniture Informative - Terrible Product Quality & Communication
RICHLAND, WASHINGTON -- Honestly, I should have read the reviews about Ashley's before deciding to purchase my master bedroom set. Our salesman was great but he is only as good as the tools he is given. There was such little communication - you have to call them and dig for answers when your 6-8 weeks has gone by and you are wondering where your new furniture is.
I think total it took about 10 weeks to get the initial delivery. When we got the delivery - one of the pieces was incorrect...not the right one! So 7 weeks have gone by and we have still not received the correct piece!!! Where the real problem lies is the breakdown in internal communication. In essence - the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I don't think they have any established procedures when it comes to taking care of the customers. I do like my furniture - but if I had to do this all over again I honestly would have gone to another company.
Last but NOT least - I had two drawers that were not working right, one was actually hanging off the dresser and the other drawer was damaged in manufacturing - so if I were to resell the piece that flaw alone would devalue the product about $500.
Seriously consider purchasing from Ashley's and read your reviews!!
