Super 8 Motel - 6322 Chef Menteur Hwy., New Orleans, LA 70126 Complaint - Horrible Motel- Stole Items Out Of My Motel Room While I Was Out. Had No Heat

Review by Ms. O on 2010-02-24
NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA -- I stayed overnight at this Super 8 motel at 6322 Chef Menteur Highway, New Orleans, LA 70126 on February 14-February 15th. I never ever stayed at a motel before; I always stay at nice hotels with good reputations where I know that I will be safe and so will my belongings. Well, this was last minute. I was alone and the staff knew this of course.

I went out at 9:00 P.M. The next morning, I was looking for an item in my room and it was gone. I complained that someone had entered my room and the staff or management did absolutely nothing about it. In addition to this, I had no heat. The heater was not working. It threw out very cold air and it was very noisy. This hole in the wall is not safe to stay in. It was better to stay outside since I was cold and someone stole my item out of my room. I never had this ordel to happen to me before in HOTELS. Beware, if you are smart you don't need to stay there.

When I call the owner, to inform her, she hung up on me and told me that she did not understand.

Horrible management and motel dump. Needless to say, I will not stay there again or any other Super 8 or motel dump.
