I purchased this laptop as a second computer and to possibly replace my little Acer netbook. I have never, repeat never, been able to get this computer to connect to the internet at home. At school, it connected once. I called Compaq, after 4.5 hrs on the phone with various non-English speaking technnicians, I was told that "customer service doesn't do much." They told me to call Best Buy, from whom I bought the computer. Best Buy feels the computer is defective, and is as we speak, is looking in to the matter.
I am really upset with Compaq's lack of concern, refusal to acknowledge a defective product and general ineptitude. I won't ever buy another Compaq. I wish I had read these online reviews before purchasing this computer. I went to buy a different computer, but changed my mind at the last minute. Bad mistake.
Moral of this story, Compaq will 'change your life', but not in a good way.
