Time Warner Cable Complaint - Almost Impossible To Terminate Services
CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA -- We have been a long time Time Warner Cable client. Due to costs, I wanted to change services. Called Time Warner Cable on 2/24/10 and said I wanted to cancel services They said they had not received our payment yet and I could not cancel. Check my bank the next day and noticed the payment was posted on 2/25/10. Call Time Warner on 2/25/10 to say I wanted to cancel. Their phone system took me to the collections department instead of cancellation. The collections department agreed that I was paid to date but the new billing cycle started on 2/25/10 for the month of March. He claimed I had to pay for March's services before I could cancel in FEBRUARY.
According to him, I had to pay for a month of pre-service before I could cancel. Total amount of $113.00 for nothing. I asked him to transfer me over to cancellation department and he said he couldn't. I ended up telling him sue me.
