COUNCIL BLUFFS, IOWA -- They wanted me to sign papers without explaining what they were for, got upset when I tried to read them and was asking questions, then tried to cash my check for the deposit 2 weeks after the purchase when they said they would wait 4 weeks. The business as a whole is a terrible representation of what customer service should be. They are out to make a sale at any costs. They make false promises and do not hold true to what they said they would do. They made inappropriate inquires to my personal life and were downright rude when I was ready to walk off the lot. They were intimidating and condescending in their closing and couldn't be bothered to explain in detail the loan and it's stipulations. If there was any way I could return the car to them and go somewhere else I would knowing what I know now.

So, you bought the car anyway? Why? They won't "let you" read the contract??? lol, it's YOUR money so tell them (too late now) that either they STFU and let you read or you're walking. You paid them, not the other way around. 2nd, last a new post dated checks were a no no.

When they were rude when you went to walk out, you should have kept on walking. You should have taken that as a bad sign. Most dealers become super nice and polite when you get up to walk.

and cashing the check... personally i don't think any check should be pre-written for a car. it just sounds like a lot of trouble
but indeed if they wouldn't let you read the contract then ... it's nto surprising if they changed their minds about the check too.
any company that wont let you read a contract is one you shouldn't do business with

I don't understand, why would you even do business with a place, the wouldn't allow you to read the documentation and contract??
You could of just go up, said thank you, but no thank you and walked away. As for the check, why would they wait 4 weeks to cash a check for a car you already had in your possession? They wanted to get paid after all.

They sound almost as bad as Moses Motor Company in York, Nebraska. These type of sales people should be locked up.
