ProFlowers Complaint - Misleading Rebate offer / Advertising

Review by bspimas on 2010-02-28
I responded to an E-MAIL offer from Pro Flowers. The offer was to include a rebate of $9.99 (shipping charge). I completed the complicated process to qualify for the rebate, only to find it required registering for a membership at FREE SHIPPING. COM. So I joined. NO REBATE! My E-Mails received no response. Further research showed that completing the offer required me to then submit the rebate on paper with printed receipts to a mail address. The final insult was discovering the "REBATE" was only a COUPON good only with company's associated with PRO FLOWERS! was another whole can of worm's!

So you basically fell for a scam that you got in your email from God knows who and are blaming a legitimate company for it? The fact that you jumped through hoops tells you it is not worth dealing with. And it came from your email when you never requested it.....The internet calls that SPAM. Stop clicking things in emails before you get a nasty virus, if you haven't already. Go ahead and run a virus scan just in case.
