Review by nomoXM on 2010-03-01
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS -- I am a ex-supervisor for Paramount com/Results tel, a company that took a lot of calls as well as made calles on XM's behalf. Many times when you thought you were talking to XM you were talking to my call center. I have started a boycott to say no to XM you can learn more at noxm.8k.com

So? A lot of companies outsource their call center functions.

Isn't this soliciting?
Posted by PepperElf on 2010-03-01:
yes I think it is solicitation

But your call center was authorized to make and receive calls for XM, right? So there's absolutely no problem with that situation.

No, it's not a solicitation. At least not in the sense of making a profit.
I did go to the link. The gist of it is employees are required to sign an extremely convoluted agreement to become employed. It was real gray as to who you were being employed by. Management was telling them the form was one thing when the form actually says something entirely different. Corporate weaseling.
