Lane VanOrden Construction Complaint - Lane VanOrden Construction poor and unreliable
BAINBRIDGE, NEW YORK -- On July 26 2004, I hired Lane Van Orden Construction to renovate my basement. The owner of this company, named Lane, presented himself as a master carpenter. I hired this company based on the very "knowledgeable" and factual quote I recieved. He presented a portfolio of his alleged work for us to review. As the project began, I started to realize that Lane VanOrden was, in fact, a novice carpenter who lacked the basic skills to properly perform the job he was hired to do. He was late every day. As the work progressed at a snails pace, Lane VanOrden cut corners and raised his price. This individual never completed his job. And he lied about being fully insured, showing us a bogus insurance paper. He is currently traveling around the country with a NYS driver license trying to pass himself off to other unsuspecting homeowners as a "professional". Beware of Lane VanOrden Construction.
