ICICI Bank Limited Complaint - It's A Great Mistake To Open An Account With ICICI

TIRUPPUR -- Here is another customer, Nature Neem Product, Tiruppur, who regret to have opened an account with ICICI. Our foreign buyer from Italy has transferred money to us and we are struggling for the past 15 days to get this account.
If we call by telephone, they say our card number is invalid and reset the PIN quit the call. After several tries contact to customer services is unsuccessful.
Sending an email to corporatecare@icicibank.com, nri@icicibank.com, nodalofficer@icicibank.com - no email has been replied for the past 4 days. (I have the proof)

Contacting the local bank - they confirm that money has reached (!!!) some 10 days before and they can’t remit the money to our account for X reasons (as if it’s their money). They asked the invoice, then asked a 100 rupees bond, then they asked a letter this was going like this for the past 15 days and our buyer has lost patience and now he cancelled the order.

ICICI should realize how small companies like us struggle to take an international order. Now we has lost the order because of the worst services of ICICI. Even today the money is not transferred and we have incurred a loss due to them. The next wise decision I have to take is to close the account with them
We are frustrated and we can provide the proof for the all that we have explained above. I advice all of you kindly not to open the account with ICICI.

Sounds like they are suspicious of the account and possibly have frozen it.

ICICI bank is unworthy of offering NRE services...

My freinds since the last 12 days I have been searching the net for all info I could get on ICICI bank and came upon this website wherin people have written thier grievances and then only did I realise that it is not ONLY me who has been so much mentally harassed and totured by ICICI bank.,,

The people in the BRANCH including the Branch MANAGER are just fresh passouts from college who don't know a thinh other than just saying..YES SIR, OK SIR, DON"T worry SIR. They are highly incapable of doing anything infact they are capable of ruining, delaying and blocking your work...

I work with many banks but thier NRE remittance services are great..U get credit in ur account the second or max on the 3rd day but with ICICI I just can't understand what rules or policies they follow...Even after 12 days the money is not credited to ur account...On inquiring the OVER smart helpline officers say that the money is there but they are waiting for some confiormation or something blah blah from the remitting bank...

All this kjust not delays work but causes lot of stress, tensions and anxiety which affects the physical and mental health and also make the person unable to do his routine work properly.

IN SHORT....JUST 1 simple advice...KEEP AWAY from ICICI bank and tell all ur freinds, relatives and even enemies to keep away from ICICI bank... In fact this bank should be shut down atleast the NRE division...

ICICI bank is a scam. Its total fraud bank. They shameless people. I doubdt ICICI owner knows who his mother is.
Do you know ICICI spends 25% of their revenue on marketing and ads. They hire expensive movie actors like sharuk Khan to promote their bank.
Customer service people are hopeless and don’t even understand what we are talking. They just keep some paper in front of them read it, no matter what is your question.
I did a large mount of money transfer to my business account in India, I had to pay my employees in India in a weeks time. They sent me an email after 3 days saying money was deposited in the account, and assumed that everything went fine. On the payroll day everything started bouncing. when I checked the account there is no money. When I call the customer service they said, send an email to nri@icicibank.com. I sent an email, did not hear anything from them for 20 days. After 20 days some moron calls me and tells me there was some name mismatch. If there is a name mismatch and money is not deposited, how did they send an email saying its money was deposited.
I asked them to return the money to my bank in USA, they did not respond for another week, then they sent me another email saying they cannot refund to US $ as the money was already converted to Rupees. They don’t want to deposit the money in Indian bank as there is name mismatch, they don’t want to refund the money. They don’t have any solution for this problem. I had to fight with them for another month. They finally deposited the money in India branch.
I had very bad time with my company employees, I had loose some employees because of this. I am almost at the verge of closing my business.

Guys, Think twice before opening an account with ICICI. Be careful, don’t fall for their marketing talk.
