Enterprise Rent-A-Car Complaint - Horrible customer service
COCKEYSVILLE, MARYLAND -- My insurance company set me up with Enterprise when my car went into the shop. First, Enterprise said they did not have the staff to pick me up. This was after the reservation had been made and confirmed. Later that day I left the keys on the seat of the car. Apparently this particular type of car automatically locks all the doors when you close the doors. When I called Enterprise to tell them the car had locked itself with the keys inside they said they do not have spare keys but would send out roadside assistance and charge me $61 dollars. An hour later someone showed up and opened the car. The next morning the car would not start. I called Enterprise and they seemed to not know what to do. They told me that they did not have any other cars and they only thing that they could do was send out roadside assistance again. Roadside assistance arrived to tell me that they are not mechanics and don't know what's wrong with the car and I should call Enterprise.
Enterprise said they couldn't do anything until they got some cars back. They weren't sure when that would be. I am a frequent traveler and always use Hertz. I have always had excellent service with Hertz. STAY AWAY FROM ENTERPRISE!
