Verrazano Service Center Complaint - Stop Searching - Check Engine Light On

Review by saraKaramanlis on 2010-03-03
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- It was a joke for Mike..At the beginning of March driving on belt parkway my MIL light turned on. Wife was panicking and I took of from the closest exit by Verrazano Bridge. Luckily we found a local Honda dealer.

They decided to check our vehicle after waiting 2,5 hours around. Then Service writer showed up with a smiley face because he was holding a gravy estimate for me. It was $897.00 and I had to live the car with them for 4 days. Not knowing what to do we decided to take a chance and drive home.

Right on next block we had to stop for gas at a BP gas station which we found owned by Mike. Lot was full of cars with their hoods open allover and I decided to take his opinion.

While wondering around and having a nervous wife next to me he ask me to inside and fill out a form. Before I finished writing my address he came in and hand me the keys and told me car was fixed. Make the long story short, it was unplugged sensor from previous air filter change which we had the day before. It was unbelievable and best part was my bill which was a warm hand shake...My wife and I was speechless all the way home ..
