Cozy Winters Complaint - Poor Customer Service
EL DORADO HILLS, CALIFORNIA -- This has been an extremely frustrating company to deal with regarding a Christmas return. We have been dealing with the BBB but to no avail. They have an A rating with the BBB which is what my husband saw when deciding to purchase from this company. But after reading other reveiws on line (which he didn't do), I can see we are not the only customers who have had a very unpleasant experience dealing with them. I would strongly suggest NOT buying from this company. We purchased heated gloves which came with a defective charger. They replaced this charger, but we bought the gloves to use for snowmobiling and after the delay of waiting for the charger and getting back up to our cabin to try them out, we were past the time frame for the return. Our complaint is that they are not acknowledging that things were delayed because THEY sent us a faulty charger. They have yet to acknowledge this and consequently we have been unable to return the gloves for a full refund. They finally said we could return them for a 20% restocking fee which would mean we would lose $50 and we had to spend the remaining amount from their store. There is nothing that we want there. We want our $250 back so I can buy another gift of my choosing. They have been totally FRUSTRATING AND IRRITATING to deal with and I really hope others don't make the same mistake we did by dealing with them.
