Chicken-Of-The-Sea Chunk Tuna Complaint - Watery Tuna - Chunk Light Tuna Packed In Water

Review by M-2 on 2010-03-06
I have never bought this brand of tuna before, and probably will not in the future. It would be more accurate to described it as shredded and placed in water. In the three cans I opened, there might have been enough
chunk-like pieces to make a quarter teaspoon. It was very runny and had to be pressed through a sieve before it could be mixed to make a salad.

The taste was OK, but the consistency was NOT chunk.

The best tuna, is tuna in a pouch. It's worth the extra money.

Canned tuna hasn't been the same since they took all the dolphin out.

I think Chicken of the Sea is the worst of the major brands. Even the solid white is squishy. StarKist and Bumble Bee are better, in that order.

tuna in the pouches is far better with less water.
