Kaspersky Nightmare Complaint - Kaspersky Anti Virus

Review by kaspersky nightmare on 2010-03-07
I purchase kaspersky anti virus last year March, boy that was a mistake to many problems and very poor customer service. I decide it that I will not renew the license, I went back to McCaffe before you install the new Security you need uninstall the old one. That is when the nightmare begin uninstalling Kaspersky it is very hard your computer frozen then when you successfully remove the program you internet and the wireless network wipe out completely you will need to get the expert to setup your WIFI and that is expensive. What I have been told that the virus protection should never attached to the WIFI. Before Kaspersky I have a MC Caffe when I removed from my computer I did not lost any connection or the wireless network I was able to install the new system Kaspersky.

Kaspersky take control completely to your computer and will decide which programs you can use.

I'm tax accountant I have CFS and Tax Work have so-much trouble to update my programs because the Kaspersky. Before anyone choose a different security do your home work.

Learn my lessen the hard way.

Sounds as bad as trying to get rid of Norton. Here is a fix for you.

I got it from simply googling the problem.

I've used Kaspersky for years and honestly I've never had any freezing trouble like that except with computers that are bogged down by lots of background processes. Kaspersky Internet Security has proven to me to be a very good protection suite and I recommend to everybody. However it is a bit more comprehensive and the way you claim it makes decisions for you, sounds like you haven't configured the trust/exclusion lists, which depending on the amount of software on the computer, can be really time consuming. I definitely agree with this though, their customer service could use some improvement, I bought the Mac version and wasn't satisfied and I had lots of trouble trying to get a refund from them for it, and I too have noticed the wireless network de-configuration bug with the older version.

I have been using Kaspersky for the last 4-5 years. Never had any issues. It is a bit more technical to setup than Mcafee or Norton, as it has more in depth options in which to customize it with. I never had any issues with freezing, removing it or anything. I have also never had it affect my wireless at all. It almost sounds like either the installation was not done correctly or your home network setup was not fully configured correctly.
