Furniture Showcase - Reidsville NC Complaint - Buyer Beware - Fraudulent/Unethical Business Practices
REIDVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA -- On March 26, 2009 I purchased an Armoire($558.00 + shipping)using their website www.furniture-showcase.com. I received confirmation of the order and a delivery date of May 20, 2009. Every month thereafter the delivery date changed due to problems with the manufacturer, their sales representative etc. I waited for delivery of said purchase for six months from Furniture Showcase, which was never received by consumer. On September 18, 2009 the Company, Furniture Showcase agreed to refund the purchase price within three weeks, which was not honored. The Company stated the reason the funds have not been credited is due to credit problems with the Merchandise processor. The stories continued to February 1, 2010. It is now March and I have not received my refund. The company stalls until it is to late to file a claim with your credit card company (which must be done within 90 days. Leaving no recourse except legal means. Apparently, this company has several complaints against it with Better Business Bureau and Rip Off Reports for unethical and fraudulent business practices.
I have been extremely patient with this Company and is seeking resolve. Something has to be done to protect consumers from companies with unethical business practices.
