Travelocity Complaint - No Guarantee Here!! - Spring Break Vacation 2010
I recently booked my trip with Travelocity and I have had problems from day one. First, I was charged twice for my hotel stay, and when contacting customer service I was told that it was untrue. After waiting over an hour to speak with a manager I was told that I was wrong and was forced to prove to it to them. I had a conference call with my bank which told this manager that I had been charged twice for my hotel stay. The manager said that she would ask for it to be removed but it never happened!! We had to file a dispute against Travelocity with the bank to get it removed. I emailed my complaint to Travelocity and received an email to call customer service, which I did. Expecting maybe an apology, I had to explain what happened over and over again. After another hour got nowhere with no apology!
A week ago I found the exact same trip on Travelocity for 100.00 cheaper. I filled out the price guarantee form and have not heard one word back yet.
I have yet to take my trip. It's not for a few weeks. Travelocity leaves me with no sense of security, and personally I am afraid to leave home with Travelocity's guarantee backing us.
