Best Buy Complaint - Worst Customer Service Experience of a Lifetime
GLENDALE, ARIZONA -- Approximately 2 years ago I purchased this TV. It just stopped working. I called them on a Sunday and they stated the Geek squad would be out on Thursday afternoon. When I was on the phone with them I pulled out a whole file of Best Buy receipts where I have spent thousands of dollars. To my horror I could not see any of the printing on any of them to see if I had a warranty. I found out this happens to all their receipts. I agreed that I would pay for repairs if I did not have the warranty. After waiting 5 days for the "geek squad" to come out my door bell rang. A man came into my home walked straight past me and started yelling 150 dollars. (apparently this is what they charge to walk in the door) I told him no one had explained this he called his supervisor who then told him "cancel the call" I was asking to speak to the manager but he refused. Instead he yelled at me in my own home and and refused to do anything for me even when I offered to pay the 150. After several phone calls and some psuedo apologies no one has called me back and my TV still sits dark. I will NEVER spend another penny at BEST BUY and I encourage others to do the same. It was actually very scary and this guy now knows where I live!
