Appliance Direct Complaint - Lg refrigerator deceit commercial

Review by 36 on 2010-03-11
FLORIDA -- Appliance direct has a TV commercial announcing an lg refrigerator french doors stainless steal also a black one and white for $1377 witch Sam Pak the oriental person that is on the commercial says and shows the price very clearly for $1377, he doesn't specify the price for the stainless one because hes showing all 3 of them. When you go to appliance direct store to look for the frigde they say that the stainless steal is for sale for $1777 where is says on the commercial $1377. I sent them an email complaining about this issue and 30 minutes after I receive a call from an employees sayings that hes a store manager where he indicates that the price for lg refrigerator is $1777 and that Sam Pak is giving body language to the audience indicating that the $1377 is the black/white fridge not the stainless steal one so I think this is a deceit commercial.

Also Sam Pak doesn't give face to the customers because he knows that there's a lot of complaints about his appliances.

Of course the stainless steel one is going to be more expensive. It's called marketing and advertising to get you through the door. What's wrong with the black or white one? Why do you need the stainless one? If that's the one you want, pay the difference.

o god yes, stainless steel always costs more.

back when i was on a shore command the supply petty officer was looking for a microwave to purchase for the command.

i was able to find a functional one for a lot cheaper because... the one he was picking out was all stainless steel, and the one i picked out wasn't.

they ended up going with my idea because it really did save them a lot of money

So who is this oriental witch, Sam Pak? Spokesperson? I don't understand what is meant by not giving face to the customers. Does that mean he has his back to the camera while pitching or he won't take customer service calls, because frankly, neither of those theories make a lot of sense. Last time I tried calling Luke Wilson over bad AT&T cell service, I didn't get far.
