Delta Airlines Complaint - They Lie!
We were on a flight from San Diego to New York JFK on Feb 25th 2010. We couldn't land at JFK due to weather and were diverted to Boston. Once we were on the ground they cancelled our new flight from Boston to JFK and the AGENTS at the gate told us there was an Amtrak train at 11am and that if we purchase tickets we can just submit for reimbursement from Delta. Once we were back home and contacted Delta about a reimbursement they said that they can't help us and can't honor our request. We understand that the weather was out of their control but they didn't have to lie to us about a false reimbursement. If they were honest we wouldn't have opted to take the train and would have waited until the next available flight. I won't fly Delta again!
