Motel 6 Complaint - Motel 6-Springfield-Chicopee #1059
CHICOPEE, MASSACHUSETTS -- I made an advance reservation with Motel 6 -Springfield-Chicopee for a one night stay on Thursday, March 11, 2010. I arrived at 6:08 PM. and was given Rm 120. I was tired from traveling, and retired soon after arrival. I turned the heater unit on, and retired. After about 10 minutes I found that the "heater" was blowing cold air. I tried to set the heater up to a higher level but could not get more than luke warm air. The blanket on the bed was set so that it could not be pulled up more than chest high. I tried to keep warm by pulling the bed cover up over the blanket, but thaat did not help. I called the desk, they apologized and offered to move me to another room which I declined, considering the time and the fact that I was in bed at the time. I finally turned the bathroom shower on full hot for about 5 minutes, which did warm the room up. (While in the bathroom, I noticed that the exhaust vent screen over the toilet was all matted with lint).
I survived the night but had to face the next day, (I had meetings scheduled for 8:00), tired and upset with the series of events.
As far as I am concerned, I never again want MOTEL 6 TO LEAVE THE LIGHT ON FOR ME. They can extinguish it forever.
