Smart Styles Salon in Wal-Mart Complaint - Worst Hair Cut Ever, A Monkey w/out hand could have done better.
ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO -- My daughter and I were in Wal-Mart and she wanted her hair cut for her upcomming 1st Communioin now in May. So I agreed to let her cut it. We went to the Salon in Wal-Mart called Smart Style. The stylist was asked what style my daughter wanted. We told her longer roumd the face and shorter in back. She seemed to know what we wanted. Well the sides were un even so much my daughter noticed. As for the back it is so uneven and way too short we can't even blow dry to try and style. During the hair cut the stylist kept asking me how to cut the hair. Question: Does Smart Styles just get any person off the street and poof they are a hair stylist. Seems like it if they have to ask the customer how to do their jobs. Well after several attemps to get the stylist to fix the mess she had made didn't work we went home to try and style the hair. I didn't haven any luck. After about 2 hours of working with the horrible hair cut I finally used my hair straightener/flat iron and that is when I called back to the salon and was told to go back to have the stylist try and fix the mess. When we arrived the stylist still tryied to show me it was even. I pointed out where the mistakes were she clipped a little her and a little there and the hair was worse than the first time. I then went home and sent a complaint to the company via e-mail and you guessed it no refund. Because my daughter's hair is so messed up after 2 tries I will not allow any smart styles cut my daughter's hair or my hair again nor will I buy any hair product from them ever again. Since these so called companies who don't care about the customers who pay them to do a good job doesn't care about us. I hope more people like me don't use their service to get a hair cut that looks like you just lost a fight with the lawn mower. I believe even a monkey with out arms or hands could have done a better job.
A very upset and disappointed customer. I now have to pay again to have someone else try and fix this mess if my daughter's hair grows any before May 2nd. Which will probably not happen in time.
