The Hartford Insurance Co. Complaint - Insurance ripoff

I had both home and auto ins with this company for a year. In Jan of this year I changed shifts at work and started to work a ton of overtime so some things slipped through the cracks and I missed two payments on the home owner insurance When I called and tried to rectify the situation I was told that they would no longer insure me. Fine. I will take my money elsewhere and when I called to cancel My auto ins I was informed that I would be charged 10% of my yearly premium as a cancellation fee.

The policy lapsed. They won't re-instate. THEY said NO. YOU did not cancel. Tell them to take their 10% and stuff it!
