David's Bridal Complaint - Horrible customer service
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA -- I went to David's Bridal to get my wedding dress during their $99 sale, when other dresses are discounted by $50 to $200 or so. I went there three times to try on dresses and had to fill out the same paperwork all three times because they lost it every time. So, no record of the dresses I tried on, and all my other info was lost each time as well. They have the best selection of affordable dresses in Indy (or so I thought at the time), so I kept going back.
I ordered my bridesmaid dresses in blue, and when I went to pick them up they were red. Luckily I had ordered in plenty of time so there was still 4 weeks left to the wedding. They said they would put a rush on it, but it would still take 3-4 weeks to get the right ones in. Also, when I bought my dress, the lady tried to not take off the extra $50 that was supposed to come off the price. She said the cash register wouldn't let her discount it, so I told her to get a manager. She said the manager wouldn't be able to do anything about it, but after about 5 minutes she finally called the manager over who just had to hit a few buttons and I got the discount. Every time I went in, I felt like I was bothering the salespeople--I definitely didn't feel excited like I should have shopping for my wedding dress. Thank goodness I ordered my bridesmaid dresses early or I would have been screwed b/c of David's Bridal.
