Review by bigj69cc on 2010-03-15
I have mcafee through Comcast but my laptop got attacked by spyware and virus and mcafee could not find them through the scans its up to the point where the virus has blocked mcafee and most of the file so this crap is trash and worthless and now I had to spend more money of a virus removal so I don't recommend this product

You have to keep updating (McAfee) or any other anti-virus software against newly developed attacks.

Comcast just switched from McCafee to Norton. You should check into this, as you can install the latest Norton, free of charge, through Comcast - if you want.

Also, download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. That program, which is free, is great at removing malware and spyware. I use it in addition to my subscription McAfee. However, with the free version of Malwarebytes, you have to manually update it before you use it again. Paid versions do the updating automatically. But why pay, when you can update the free version just by clicking "update". Also download CCleaner and CA Yahoo Anti-Spy (all free). CA Yahoo Anti-Spy is part of the Yahoo toolbar.
