Eonfitness Complaint - Fraudulent activity - Exercise bikes, ellipticals, and fitness equipment

Review by obertm on 2010-03-17
CALIFORNIA -- We purchased several units at once from this company. This company claims they sell refurbished fitness equipment. What we received is obsolete old exercise life fitness equipment with significant signs of damage to the exterior, worn out interior components, some bad screens with no new or refurbished parts. Delays in shipment, constant lies and false assurance about the quality of the product were common practice. The company will only accept an advanced wire transfer as form of payment. The company gave false impression to resolve the problem. No resolution has been provided.

"The company will only accept an advanced wire transfer as form of payment."

That's usually a red flag right there, for a fraudulent company. That and only taking Western Union payments.

Wire transfers only? They scammed you.

Considering they will only take advanced payment via wire, I have no doubt many share your observation.
Good move getting the word out.
