Swiss Replica Store Complaint - Swiss Relica store - dreadful quality , worthless warranty

Review by Jules2 on 2010-03-17
1 week after receiving a Rolex Oyster Day Date watch from the SwissReplica store I tried to adjust the day and date. The whole crown and shaft came out of the watch which renders it useless. I contacted the company who initially offered a replacement, but as I did not want to have the same problem again, I selected more expensive option and offered to pay difference. I have not heard another word from the company despite sending numerous e-mails. It is now 2 months later and I sit with brand new useless watch

The real Rolex watches won't give you that problem.

Is this that place that the watches say things like Folex on them if you look close. I would hope so anyway, and they aren't branded Rolex and other trademarks.

I checked out the website, and the watch I looked at said Rolex. They also sell Louis Vitton bags that have the logos and all the stamping and authenticity of the LV bags.

Yeesh, well that's not legal last I checked. Not much to wonder about the integrity of a company that sells counterfeit products. Sorry Jules, but you may be out of luck.

Aren't they based in Canada? And replica and counterfeit is two different things. Replica looks like real with a different logo or similar pattern. Counterfeit is an exact copy.

since we are incorrectly splitting hair about "counterfeit" and "replica" let me add a few words in the mix. "Goodwill" "Reputation" and the big one "Trademark" This company is marketing counterfeit goods, bottom line. As someone that owns a real Rolex Datejust and Submariner its more than a pet peeve that this counterfeit crap is around.

If the goods are counterfeit then the law should get involved. And I wonder just how they make it past customs since counterfeiting is illegal.

No hair splitting at all.

You are kidding aren't you? Do you know how many intermodel containers land in Long Beach, CA alone everyday? CBP (Customs Border Protec) checks about 5% of them, therefore 95% of goods go unchecked. Walk around any big city and seen guys selling counterfeit Prada purses, Gucci sunglasses etc on the sidewalk.
This company isn't located in the US by design, they'd be nailed shut in about 5 seconds if they were.

VF, I guess I just had more faith in my crime fighters than I should have. Thanks for blowing that to Hades!
