Sears Complaint - Sears won't replace my Blender under warranty
HOFFMAN ESTATES,, ILLINOIS -- I just have been having my second unresolved incident with Sears about a blender that broke and I still had 4 months left on my warranty and the lady told me to send in the cord from the blender by cutting off 6 inches off the cord and sending it in an envelope. They told me they would be sending me a postage return label to send them the cut off cord from my broken blender. I never even received the label. I waited a week and I called every week on this and never received any postage label to return the cord. Finally, 5 months later, (from the first call in September 2009 when I first called to March 2010), I get the postage label March 2010 and send in the cord and I get a message my case has been closed. How is it that Sears can get away with this. I am just about to cry, I have talked to these people and I cannot get anywhere. Sears does not care and I want to put the word out to everybody that if you buy from Sears, if it breaks, they will give you a hard time to get it replaced or fixed. Sears is not getting my money on anything that has to do with vaccums, TV's, or any appliance because I have had it. My vaccum went out, I got the wrong part sent twice, not just once, twice. I hate Sears and I hope they lose the company because they have rude customer service that do not help you. These people are very well trained not to help you and to get out of honoring your warranty. I paid extra for the warranty at the cash register when I bought that red blender and I cannot get it replaced after having it only 8 months. I will now tell everyone how Sears is not the place to buy any appliance, unless they want to get ripped off and never get it fixed. I am never going to get over this, unbelieveable. I was patient, nice, calm, and this is what I get? Never again! Now I a stuck with a blender with the cord cut off and I have no proof I sent it in to Sears. Sears should be ashamed !
