My3cents.com Informative - Being a fan of My3Cents on FaceBook - Personal Information
This is an informative post about the become a fan link that My3Cents now provides. Remember before clicking that if you are on FaceBook and use your real name on it, other people will have access to you, your name, and unless you have your profile marked as private others may possibly have access to your friends list and other personal information.
Just a heads up, folks. If this doesn't worry you, then go for it. Personally with the conduct I have seen here I am a bit paranoid about it I don't think I want that info available to others.

Wally, I'm sure your FaceBook pic isn't as bad as you make it out to be, but I get what you're saying. I have a generic one on mine. My friends already know what I look like. We all use FaceBook mainly to share pictures or if we all are making plans for something then we can add our availability, suggestions and stuff without having to make a lot of calls that makes us play phone tag.
There are a few that I would trust with my full name but others. Nope, no way, not gonna happen, hell would freeze over first. LOL :)

I do have a facebook but would not be a fan of M3C simply for that reason.
There ARE people who would take advantage of using someone's real name to harass them off-site.
It's simply safer to keep the crazies at bay, where they don't know how to reach you in RL.
