Close Out Complaint - Rudeness - Cannon Camera

Ordered a Cannon camera from them on 1-14-10 as of 3-22-10 was still on back order so I canceled the order. I didn't think this was all that unreasonable but when I did cancel they were very RUDE hung up on me, although we did get an e-mail confirming the cancellation.

As long as the camera was on order & all I was doing was checking to see if they got it in yet they were very nice, but hanging up on someone is Not the thing to do after they waited for 3 full months for the produce.

Didn't even ask why I canceled just hung up.

After 30 days they should have automatically canceled the order and refunded you. Dispute the charge with your card issuer for your money back.

Backorders happen, but a consumer should have the option to cancel if they don't want to wait in my opinion.
