XM Satellite Radio Complaint - Inability to cancel
Do not ever subscribe to XM unless you want to pay them for the rest of your life. I have been trying to cancel my service for 3 months. I cannot get through to anyone on the phone; the last time I was on hold for only 5 minutes until I got a person, then she had to transfer me to another department to do the cancellation. I was on hold for 22 minutes before I gave up. This is how it works. I guess I will cancel my credit card that it is billed to, however I am assuming they will then put something on my credit report for "non-payment". This is absolutely shameful, extremely stressful, and frustrating. I am at the end of my rope with this company. I have tried to send emails; they responded saying I have to call to verify that I am the subscriber. I have provided my account number and my billing address in the email, as the first email told me to.
