Lauer Brothers Auto Sales Dover, PA 17345 Complaint - Not Fair - 2002 Volkswagen Cabrio

Review by DanielG78 on 2010-03-24
DOVER, PENNSYLVANIA -- Bought this car in September of 2009 with the promise that the dealership would repair the rear window and turn the check engine light off! When I took it to the dealership and dropped it off they attempted to reglue the convertible rear window back together so that the top would lower properly and promised to fix whatever was making the check engine light stay on. So I dropped the car off and got a call the next day that someone broke the rear window out to break into it which is impossible because even an infant couldn't fit through that hole. What I think happened is they attempted to reglue it and then lowered the to which broke tha glass. At first they were willing to fix it for me until they found out how much it cost $2000.00 and they told me to F myself and go ahead and sue us.

They also failed to turn the check light off after they found out it needed a $300 sensor opposed to the $15.00 sensor they told me was bad. I feel like I have been ripped off and it is not fair.

Did you get their promises in writing? If not, you're out of luck.

This is what Small Claims Court was invented for.
