Cingular Wireless Informative - Billing complaint resolved!
LEWISBURG, TENNESSEE -- Well, took the advice of an informative review posted here and called Cingular Wireless headquarters at 404-236-6000. A real person answered the phone! No automated phone system so you don't push a button to speak with someone! I told her I had a billing issue and she connected me with the President's office and I spoke with a very nice lady, Barbara Jones. She told me she would assign someone to look into my complaint and they would call me within 4 hours. They called me in 40 minutes! The customer service representative I spoke with was very helpful and courteous - what a surprise! He told me he could see what the problem was with my billing and would make the necessary adjustments to my bill and call me back. He called back 2 1/2 hours later and had made all adjustments I had requested and felt were in error. He was MOST courteous and explained all the credits he had issued and explained the remainder of the bill. I felt he did the right thing. I had called customer service twice and the second time was treated very rudely and she would not allow me to speak with anyone else, insisting my bill was correct and I did not have the unlimited mobile to mobile calling that they mistakenly deleted. So if you are having problems with billing and you know you are right...don't hesitate to call Cingular headquarters! It works!
