Tim Horton's Compliment - Watery hot chocolate/good service

BELLEVILLE, ONTARIO -- I went to Tim Horton's this morning for my usual of a hot chocolate and bagel on my way to work. When the representative handed me the hot chocolate, she asked me to taste it there, because it did not look right to her. As I did not want to burn my mouth there, I declined her suggestion. She said if it tasted off, to come back and they would replace it. Once I settled into my desk at work, opened it up, and sure enough there was no chocolate flavor.

When I went back on my morning break, the representative remembered me and replaced the drink with no hassles.

If more places would do just this simple courtesy, they would keep their repeat customers. Thanks for reminding people that a little customer service goes a long way.

Why would the employee sell you a questionable product and expect you to return if their observation was correct? It is like saying "This food we served you might be bad but please let us know if you get sick".

The employee/ supervisor should be responsible for quality control and should be confident that the customer is receiving a satisfactory/ superior product and value.
