Budget Rent-A-Car Complaint - It Costs About Five Times As Much To Attract A New Customer As It Costs To Keep An Old One
SAN JUAN -- I found out the your office in Puerto Rico charge me $42.50 because I turn the car not full which is not true, I stop at the Total, Puerto de Tier, San Juan and paid $32.20 and even turn the car 30 minutes earlier.
I been trying to call the office of Puerto Rico for the past couple of days and the phone just rings and rings and when I actually got someone they said that the manager will contact me which has not happened. So I call your customer service agent explain the situation and she said that she can’t do anything without the receipt. I know that I turn that call full or I will not be disputing this. The guy that checks my car had a pony tail and he never mentions anything about the car not been full. I know the consequence for not turn in the car with a full tank of gas.
I don’t have the receipt, since I didn't think I need it. But you know something you can keep the $42.50, I will make that back with two hours of work. And we will not be doing business again. And I love when companies use is our policy, always remember you are not the only rental company in this world. And something I learn over the years as retail manager “It costs about five times as much to attract a new customer as it costs to keep an old one". Good luck with your policy and business decision.
