MBNA Complaint - MBNA FRAUD - LINE OF CREDIT
WILMINGTON, DELAWARE -- Dear Customer Service,
I'm writing to alert you to a problem I've had with a LINE OF CREDIT issued by you. My problem concerns overall experience. I hope by bringing this to your attention, the problem will be addressed. This incident has made me extremely upset.
Here's what happened: i got a line of credit from MBNA for $25,000.00 over the phone with MBNA employee. I told them i wanted a loan over 36 months .She came back and said it would be 696.00 a month for 36 months. so I agree with the deal. A month later i got a statement showing my APR at 19.99% and 750 dollar transaction fee. I called and complained and told them i wasnt imformed that there was a 750 dollar transaction fee.So the several customer service reps argue with me till i got a supervisor.Then he said my loan was 696.00 for 60 months. I SAID WHAT!!! Mbna employee mislead me over the phone in getting loan now I got a high interest rate for 60 months.I tried several times to resolve this matter. In meanwhile im still making my payments on time. Im in process of complaining to the attorney general and BBB and any other agency that will take my complaint..This company is a rip off!! Here's what I want you to do: I would like MBNA to do what they said over phone 696.00 for 36 months and refund all transactions fees that i wasnt told about.Because this is FRAUD!!!!!
In the future, I will likely avoid doing business with you. And I definitely won't recommend you to others.
