Staples Complaint - No easy button at Staples
HOUSTON, TEXAS -- Staples doesn't stock their brand of 11x17 cover stock paper so I had to place an order. I called the store (not wanting to create an online account). Mistakenly thought it would be easy - place my order, give my name and phone number and pick it up in a day or so. But no. He talked me through creating an online account. I didn't want to give my email address (too much junk as it is) but he insisted, saying it's a required field. Still not easy. Then he said it would arrive in 3-4 business days. When I said I don't have 3-4 business days and asked if it was stocked in any other store, I was placed on hold. After a couple of clicks, I was disconnected (or hung up on?). I'm waiting to see if he'll call back at the phone number I gave him. Hasn't happened yet.
