BOISE, IDAHO -- I have not ordered from PH in Boise in ages, and here is why:
I ordered a pizza one evening and was told that my total would be $13 and change. I waited and a girl that was obviously new came to my door with the food. I gave her $16 - a $10, a $5, and a $1.
Barely 10 minutes later, as I'm trying to eat, I get a phone call. It is the girl that delivered the food. She only had the $5 and the $1.
Now, I don't expect people to kiss my arse, call me 'sir', etc., but they could be moderately polite. She couldn't, however! Instead of asking in a manner I would deem appropriate, such as 'hi, are you sure you gave me the correct amount?' she chimed in with 'You didn't give me all the money!' I told her I most certainly DID give her the correct amount, and that I stood there while she looked right at it in her hands.
I set the money out right after I call whenver I order in food, and clearly remembered her taking the $10, the $5, and the $1, LOOKING at them, then leaving. What a bimbo. I was immensely annoyed at having my meal interrupted by this waste of oxygen, and even more annoyed that she had the nerve to imply that I was a crook.
I call the store, they give me the runaround and tell me it was her first day. I suggested that they introduce new training, and teach their employees not to accuse customers of theft after they paid for their food in full and gave a decent tip.
I contacted Pizza Hut and waited... and waited. Finally a letter arrives in the mail. Inside is a gift certificate for a whole $5! You are SO generous Pizza Hut! Your employees violate my privacy and interrupt my meal by phoning me at home after I paid in full, and you send a whopping $5. Would it have hurt that much to just apologize and offer me a free pizza?
I mailed it back to them with a letter telling them to stick it.
It looks like they will never make this right, and because of that I'll never order again.
