Pinnacle and AVID Complaint - Extremely Poor Support for Pinnacle products

While the Pinnacle Studio product is promising, the fact that it full of bugs and causes application crashes continually is very frustrating. If Pinnacle offered even average customer support I would be less critical. However, what Pinnacle offers as "support" through AVID is a flat out joke. It's almost impossible to get through to a person with any knowledge, and there is a huge disconnect between Pinnacle and AVID I have spent countless hours on the phone and via e-mail to try to get answers to what should be simple questions, and every time I have given up in frustration. In one example I was actually trying to BUY something and got the run-around. Do not waste your money on Pinnacle or anything with the Pinnacle or AVID name attached to it. There are any number of competitive products that will do the same job (or more) for the same money - and most importantly - will support the product they sell
