Baymont inn, Springfield, Il Complaint - Refused a reservation

SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS -- Had a reservation and when attempted to check in was told that they do not have a room at that price. The hotel asked for more money than the quoted rate on the corp reservation system. They were trying to extort more money from an 80 year old veteran traveling with his wife and grand daughter. Called customer service corp number and they were able to book the room at the lower rate and could not explain why the hotel owner was jacking up the prices at the desk. After several emails including the owner that was the desk clerk on that day he states clearly that he did not have a room at that rate and was unable to explain this.
