Best Buy Complaint - Return Policy - Service
DEARBORN, MICHIGAN -- This company has a horrible return policy. CUSTOMER BEWARE. Under absolutely no circumstances will anyone be able to get an exchange or store credit or anything if not accompanied by a receipt. It does not matter if the item is $5 or $5000, and don't even bother asking for a manager - according to employees just about everyone is a manager.
I purchases a set of videos (not expensive) and the first one was fine but the other two were completely broken inside. I just wanted an exchange, but no way. I then wanted to speak to the store manager and there isn't one(whatever). So I asked for the Division Manager's name...apparently they don't have one of those either. Ok, so where is the company headquarters?...they're not privy to that information. Another try, "who signs your paycheck?", again they are not privy to that information.
If you aren't interested in customer service, go ahead and shop there. Realize though, that if anything goes wrong-you are on your own.
