Glamour Studios/Inner Beauty Academy Complaint - Deceived/Broken Contractual Agreement

Review by JUSTICE NOW! on 2010-04-02
Glamour Studios, aka, Inner Beauty Academy is not a reputable, nor a licensed school. She says she is "headquartered" in VA, but my credit card statement reflected payment from CA. I attended this so-called "school", and the first day knew I made a huge mistake. If you do any type of search for this "company", you will not find very much information. The topics indicated on this website to be covered, were either not covered at all, or the instructor spent very little time on each topic. The instructor spent half of the class time chatting about personal issues. There was no syllabus; there were no handouts; we were instructed to take notes off of the powerpoint presentation. Topics on skin-care were not accurate. There were four students in this class, and two of us saw this "school" for what it really was! We both asked for our money to be refunded. I have a signed and witnessed document stating that I would receive my money back on my credit card within five to seven business days. It has been over two weeks, and NOTHING! This instructor will not return my phone calls, or respond to my emails. I have given her every chance to make this right by upholding this contractual agreement, but she is refusing! She is breaking the law, and engaging in deceptive trade practices.
