Wendy's Informative - Dress Code
FARMINGTON, NEW MEXICO -- I hate to single out Wendy's, but it seems as though in my fast food journey's in life, that I tend to see it the most in Wendy's. When did manager's stop enforcing dress code and personal hygiene? As stated in other forums, my first job was in fast food (Taco Bell) and I always tucked my shirt in, wore my hat on straight, and answered customers with sir and ma'am. At the risk of sounding like an old fuddy-duddy (just that terminology alone says it all), why do I consistently see more and more cashiers wearing their pants hanging off their butts, hats literally on sideways, piercings in their eyebrows, noses, lips, etc...and yet the prim and proper manager stands no more than 5-ft away from them. If we had someone dress like that, they'd be told to go in the restroom and make themselves presentable...or go home! End of story. What gives these days? Don't get me wrong either, because I'm fairly liberal in what I allow my teenage children to wear. But just not when you're at work and representing your company.
