T-Mobile Complaint - Use the BBB - Billing Issue
I recently had the same kind of problem described in many posts both here at my3cents another un-named site. I was with Voice Stream then Tmobile for 9yrs. Never missed a payment. Made my choice based on what was available at the time. No provider was perfect and no provider is perfect today. I decided recently to take advantage of new opportunities in my ville.
When I contacted customer service to port my number to a prepaid account, I was treated badly by many customer reps. Without going into the details... Spent way too much time trying to get a Tmobile representative with any sense of fairness or consumer loyalty. I got off the phone with my teeth grinding!
I found this site and others and read most of the posts.... Damn! It made me mad! WE all had this shared experience and no one to HEAR US.
Saw a post about the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and some real successful resolution.
I filed a complaint with the BBB about the way I was treated on the phone. It was not easy to accurately describe the detail of my treatment as the BBB site has a limited amount of space for a complaint, and I was still mad as hell! By sticking to the details and leaving out any insults I was able to show the resistance I had encountered. I asked for some loyalty and a fair solution and a thank you for being a good customer. The BBB filed a registered complaint from me and sent it to Tmobile.
Tmobile responded and with a phone call and, in my case, a completely satisfying solution. I thanked the person and asked if they could take a look at some of the posts here at my3cents. Especially the posts of those on active duty. I also asked her to point her managers this way. I believe she will. When I got off the phone this time .... I felt heard.
Do Not Lose Hope!!!
