Palomar Home Builders Informative - Average quality, horrible bookeeping

Review by Rotarian01 on 2010-04-05
PASO ROBLES, CA -- Palomar Home Builders of Paso Robles, CA is average in their category of home builders, at best. However, where they fall extremely short is with record keeping and bookkeeping. Many of their jobs end up in arbitration, or the courts. Several customers have complained about their poor bookkeeping methods, and the ultimate cost to the homeowner, usually in the 10's OS thousands. High turnover of staff bookkeepers and project managers. Do the research yourself if you have the time. I did. Not good. Their contracts, as with most builders, favor the builder, and if they make mistakes, the home owner is the one who pays... and pays dearly.

In the end, my conclusion is that there are better builders with a much better track record. Unless you have money to waste.
