Edward Jones Informative - Edward Jones - Retraction of statement

Review by Disaster Worker on 2010-04-05
About 1.5 years ago I posted my personal opinion on this site about the horrible service and series of events by a certain Edward Jones representative in Cedar Hill, Texas. As I am trying to load a patient into my ambulance today, he called on my cell asking me to retract that statement. I simply told him "no, sir, I won't".

I am sure many folks have had good luck, haven't lost money and have had someone honest at this company to deal with. That just wasn't our family's experience, but I wish anyone that has an Edward Jones franchise well, especially in this economy.

Hope everyone had a good Easter or Passover!

Why would they call and ask that a year and a half later. That is weird.

I know! I went back to read my post, and I didn't see anything that wasn't 100% honest and truthful. In fact, I got many responses back later with people saying they'd had the same results with the same rep. I don't know why anyone would be worried with the truth.

The company is only as good as the financial advisor you are dealing with. We do have an account with Edward Jones now and we will soon be moving those investments. The new advisor took over for someone else and just doesn't seem to care or be as knowledgeable as the person he replaced. However, the person he replaced was excellent. We have deducted that not all financial advisors are in it to win it.

You posted the truth about what happened to you, and your experience, which you have every right to.

Freedom of speach, well for now anyway, who knows what may happen to the United State of Socialism in the future.

Show me your papers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Skye, I chuckled at your "USA of the future". How true. And, I'd bet on my first son's life that this ED Jones guy is a huge Obama supporter. Maybe he was just trying to re-distribute our family's wealth....

There you go! Redistribute your wealth! Not theirs, just yours. Typical, they love spending money, just as long as it isn't their own!!

what's even scarier is that they obtained your personal data to call you up?
where did they get that from - or rather what website coughed it up for them?
