Thenerds.com Complaint - They shipped the wrong product
NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, FLORIDA -- We purchased a desk that comes in two boxes, by error we only ordered box 1 of 2, the next day we ordered box 2. Box one was delivered and it was correct.
We paid another $250.00 for box 2. When it was delivered, it was the wrong product. We called TheNerds. Net and explained the problem. We were told they would come and pickup the box in 3 - 4 days, once the box was delivered back to them they would then ship out the correct box 2. I explained this wasn't right, why couldn't they send the correct box and deliver it when they picked up the wrong box. Was told they couldn't do that. To get the correct box 2, we had to pay an additional $250.00(now I'm out $750.00 for a $500.00 desk)and it would be delivered in two days. Then when they come and pick up the wrong box 2, we need to call them and they will refund the $250.00. To me this just doesn't seem right! Why don't they bring the correct box when they come and pickup the wrong one? Why do I have to pay an additional $250.00 for them to ship the correct one? I guess customer service is a thing of the past! what do they care? they have my money! They delivered the box and just left it laying in the yard, now it's gonna rain and they want me to move the 140 pound box out of the rain??? I my be acting like an ass but I didn't order the box they delivered and if they don't want it getting ruined they ought to get out here quicker than 3 - 4 days and get the damn thing. We will never buy from TheNerds.net again!
