hotel service - Complaint

NEW YORD, NEW YORK -- I stayed at the Times square Sheraton in NY for 3 nights and had the worst hotel experience of my life. The first night there was a party in the room next door with loud music and drinking. I was traveling with my 2 small children. I called security 5 times to stop the party. By the fifth time, they were able to stop the music, but the party continued with swearing, slamming doors and yelling. Security told the party room that we complained so the party room started crank calling us by letting the phone ring one time and then hanging up. I went to complain to the manager the next morning. I wanted financial compensation for the terrible night and he said he couldn't because I booked the hotel through bookit.com. So he would change my room, give me free breakfast for 2 days and $100 in hotel spending. I spent $100 on room service that night and when I went to check out, I was charged $100 for the room service. I complained to yet another manager and she told me that was just how it would be and they did give me 2 free breakfast, so that should be OK. I continued to complain and they tracked down the manager who promised me the $100 and it was given to me. No manager apologized, they just send the counter person out to me and said now it would be taken care of. Also, when I went to move into my new room for the 2ND night, the room was not ready. It was 5pm and the cleaning lady was still working on it. I had no room for 1hour while we waited for her to finish. Overall, the managerial staff was rude and not helpful and I was very disappointed with my stay.
