AT&T Wireless Complaint - Billing problems
ALAMO -- I am continuing to recieve bills indicating a past due amount that I have already paid. I have called customer service and sent faxes of proof of payment three times now and I am still being billed for a charge of $88.13 (in addition to late charges) which has already been paid. This payment was made on-line and I furnished copies of my bank statement and electronic payment verification. However, a 'Shauna' in your local customer service office insists that I need to furnish a copy of a cancelled check. This is impossible since I do not have one. I have been an AT&T wireless customer for over 5 years, have spent thousands of dollars on your service, and have always paid my bills on time. Until now, I have been a satisfied customer.
To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:
I would expect that you could research and resolve this issue internally since it is your error instead of expecting me to furnish more proof than I already have. Please restore my faith in your service and do the right thing. I would prefer not to suffer the inconvenience of changing my service, but I have no more time to waste trying to resolve this problem. I would also consider it appropriate that I receive an additional credit for the inconvenience.
At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
