Carnival Cruise Line Complaint - Seniors Shafted. - Photo Gallery
March 20, 2010, at 10.00 p. m., the last night of our Legend cruise my friend and I went to purchase a picture of the two of us. She is 83, I am 72. I handed the young man the picture we wanted. I also gave him the 3 other pictures we did not want. He made idle conversation with us and handed the bill to be signed. My friend said she would put them on the Sail Pass Account. We packed the picture in the suitcase and went to bed. When we arrived home, my friend took the picture out and discovered we had 4 pictures and of course were charged $87.96, instead of $21.99. I called Carnival right away and told them of the error. They said was I willing to send the 3 pictures back. I said yes, then she came back on the line and told me we couldn't be reimbursed because Maureen signed for them. I feel we were taken advantage of, the young man kept our attention, when the bill was being signed, he kept chatting about where he lived, where we sisters, placed the signed bill in the bag and he closed down the photo gallery. Maureen was also charged for a $49.50 watch that she did not purchase. We did get reimbursed for that because we saw in in our Sign and Sail account on the TV. I have been a very happy customer of Carnival until this incident and I can truthfully say I will not use this cruise line again.
