Schneider Heating and Cooling Complaint - Carrier Air Conditioner - Complaint

ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI -- I purchased a CARRIER heating and cooling system April of 2006. From the time of the install, I would call and tell the installing company that the cooling system does not function properly. It is now 2010 and again I called the installing company and told them the system is now almost totally dysfunctional. I have learned that Carrier is selling systems with a bad coil. CARRIER CONTINUES TO SELL THESE UNITS WITH THE BAD COIL - STILL ON THE MARKET. The installing company will fix the system with a $500 charge for labor to the customer. The installing company is not charging me for the part because the coil is under a five year warranty. One more year with that bad coil and I'd have an additional charge of $700 for the bad part.
